Governance
In the past there have been questions raised over the Governance of the Calderdale LINk. At the meeting of 28th June, LINk Guardians discussed how to go forward with this matter. It was agreed that a new set of Governance for the LINk will be posted on the webpage.
The LINk recognises that the Governance may not be perfect so has decided that the Governance would be subject to a three month consultation period; 1st August to 31st October 2010. As far as is possible the consultation will be in accordance with HM Governments Code of Practice on Consultation published in July 2008. During the consultation period the LINk will work in accordance with these policies and procedures as this will help highlight operational deficiencies.
Comments made during the consultation period have been considered and amendments made where appriopriate. The amended documents are now available below:
